What I Learned in Voyager 1

In Voyager 1 I learned more about rhyming. Rhyming words have the same ending sound and usually the same ending letters. I can now hear the vowel and blend sounds so I can break down difficult words. Putting the right ending on a word can help me understand the sentence better. Sentences need to be in sequence to give me a better understanding. Cause and effect give a better picture of the story I am reading. I can now read better.

Writing is composed of many things. I learned better spelling, punctuation, and grammar. I learned to sequence consonant blends and vowel sounds to spell. A period goes at the end of a statement. A question mark follows every question. Capital letters go at the beginning of a sentence, names of people and places, and the word I. In a sentence the noun and verb must agree. Paragraphs are composed of sentences supporting the main idea. I now have a better understanding of writing sentences and paragraphs.
